Al-Aqsa University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Reach education fund, to strengthen bilateral relations by providing financial assistance to Palestinian students residing in the Gaza Strip to complete their university education.
The agreement was signed by the president of the University, Dr. Kamal Sharafi, and the Deputy Executive Director of the Reach Education Fund Mr. Mohammed Abu Zaydeh, and in the presence of the Vice-Presidents and advisers of the university.
Dr. Sharafi welcomed the presences, stressing on the importance of this cooperation and the agreement, which could support the educational process of many of the most distinguished students to be able to reach their dreams, praising the role of the institution in this direction, calling for strengthening of the memorandum of Understanding by supporting other aspects at Al Aqsa University.
For his part, Mr. Abu Zayed explained how to apply for foundation grants, in advance brief note about the activities of the foundation "reach" and its achievements in Palestine, and the level of the foundation's cooperation with Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip and West Bank, praising the importance of cooperation with Al-Aqsa University, calling to organize workshops for general secondary students to explain and clarify the details of the grants provided by the foundation.
Reach Education fund is a private non-profit corporation formed in the state of Louisiana, providing financial assistance to Palestinian students residing in Palestine to complete their educational career.
