In the presence of the university president Dr. Kamal  Al- Shrafi ,the Vice President for Cultural Affairs and Public Relations  Prof. Neamat Alwan, the Dean of Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof. Ahmad Shaat,and the Dean of Faculty of Information Dr. Majed Terban ; The University commemorates the Palestinian Nakba"69" entitled  "On this earth there is that which deserves life"

Dr. Kamal Al-Shrafi  emphasizes that  the Palestinian right of return, is a "sacred" right, as well as an inalienable and basic human right, calling the international institutions to stop the Israeli provocations against the people of Jerusalem and Palestinian cities; extending his greeting s for the Palestinian  prisoners at Israeli jails whose Hunger strikers for 28 days, also he extend his  thankful for the all whose  shared in this event.

This event included many  activities, words, and exhibitions; which  show the sacrifices and struggle of the Palestinian people.

At the end of this event , Dr. Kamal Al-Shrafi opened an exhibition "The return exhibition"  which includes different  art activities which expresses about the Palestinian reality .
