Hazem A. El baz
Dr. Hazem A. Elbaz received a B.S. degree from the Islamic University of Computer Science, Palestine, in 2002, and the M.S. degree from Near East University of Computer and Network Security, Turkey, in 2004 and a Ph.D. degree from Ain-Shams University of Computer and Information Systems, Egypt, 2015. All in Network Security and Cloud Computing Security.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department, Alaqsa University, Gaza, Palestine. He is a researcher. His research interests include Cloud Computing Security, Network Security, and Information Security.
Dr. Hazem Elbaz is an Assistant Vice President of Scientific Research at Alaqsa University, Gaza, Palestine. He is a founder of Shield Cyber Security Company for consultation and solutions; he was a team member of the Bitpal Project with Erasmus+. (BITPAL) aims to adopt innovative orientation in teaching that enhances the thinking of undergraduate students. He is also a member of the steering commit of PICTA Palestinian Information & Communication Technology Association. He was a representative of PALAST the Palestine Academy for Science and Technology in the last event, which is World Science Forum 2019 in Budapest.
Dr. Elbaz, a specialist in information security and Linux systems, has experience in penetration testing on different systems, contributes and works to improve and enrich the Arabic content in the field of information security. He did several workshops on the Cybersecurity Awareness inside, and outside Palestine, and an active member in different communities interested in cybersecurity issues.
