An academic and administrative delegation from Al-Aqsa University visited Yildiz Technical University (YTU) within the framework of the Erasmus + program. The delegation included the Vice President for the Academic Affairs, Prof. Ayman Sobh and the Director of the IT department, Dr. Yousef Hamouda, as well as Mr. Ramez Sobh, Mr. Nizar Abu Salmiya and Mr. Fayez Harazallah. During the visit, both Prof. Ayman Sobh and Dr. Yousef Hamouda gave specialized lectures to the students at the departments of Mathematics and Computer engineering, respectively.
The delegation was a given a tour of several of the university’s facilities, including the mathematics department, the computer engineering department, the International Relations Office, asnd the University Presidency Office. The delegation also met with the Vice President of Academic and Administrative affairs and the secretary general of the university, as well as the Director of the International Relations Office and many other officials of YTU, where they discussed new prospects of cooperation between the two universities, and building new bridges of cooperation in many fields.
The end of their visit, the delegation thanked the university for its reception and hospitality, and for the efforts they put forth to make the exchange visit, the first of its kind, a successful experience. A souvenir present was given on behalf of Al-Aqsa University.
The delegation thanked the President of Al-Aqsa University, Dr. Kamal Abd El Sharafi, for his unwavering support and continuous encouragement of the members of the delegation on this journey. They also thanked the Dean of international Relations Affairs, Dr. Nabil El Aila, for his efforts to fulfill this academic exchange visit, as well as his role in providing opportunities for scholarships and scientific exchange experiences with international universities.
